The best of the best is how one could briefly describe this 21 metre long and almost 11 metre wide giant. The catamaran Wild Cat 65 is the biggest, most modern and comfortable sailing yacht in the entire Baltics. It was built here in Latvia in 2012 and is worth over EUR one million.
This season, we are lucky enough to be able to spoil our guests by offering them wonderful yacht charter cruises on the Wild Cat from Central Riga with up to 30 people on deck.
Experts do not need to be reminded of this catamaran’s advantages. However, the layman should note that it has a twin-hulled structure and is much more stable in rougher water than single-hulled yachts. A cruise on a catamaran may have less of a sporting element to it, but it offers you the twin compensations of extra safety and domestic comfort.
Amenities on the Catamaran Wild Cat 65
It is easier to list that which one cannot find on board the catamaran Wild Cat than that which you will actually find there. However, let’s give it a go.
There are three leisure zones on the deck of the catamaran Wild Cat 65 – a broad roofed cockpit in the rear, a saloon with a cinema and kitchen, as well as a frontal net where you can sunbathe and enjoy your cruise under an open sky.
On longer and more distant cruises, guests will be able to enjoy overnight accommodation in four family cabins, each of which has three beds – two for adults and one for a child. As is to be expected, each cabin has a toilet and shower with hot and cold fresh water. There are a total of five WCs with electric conductivity on board the catamaran. Two separate cabins are provided for the vessel’s crew.
In cold weather, an autonomous heating system is provided to heat the vessel’s indoor spaces, whereas conditioners ensure that guests remain pleasantly cool in the heat of the summer.
The kitchen fittings on board the Wild Cat 65 will be the envy of many a housewife. Here, you will find a fridge, freezer, kitchen sink, oven, microwave oven, gas cooker, coffee machine, dishes for 20 guests and even a water desalinator, not to mention a washing machine, 220 volt power grid and both hot and cold drinking water.
For the entertainment of guests, there is a wide screen television and modern sound and video system in the vessel’s saloon, which can be connected to any data carriers in all the most popular format, including DVD and Blu-Ray.
A special swimming platform has been installed for swimming and a deck shower is available for use by guests so that they can shower in fresh water after taking a swim. Celebration snacks are served on a massive teak table in the cockpit, which can comfortably seat 10 guests.
The catamaran Wild Cat 65 is equipped with the highest class Harken mobile rigging elements and Raymarine navigation and measuring instrument equipment. The catamaran is propelled by sails and two 100 horsepower Yanmar diesel engines, while the current is prepared and charged by Mastervolt chargers and inverters.
No. of Passengers on the Sailing Catamaran Wild Cat 65
In order for all guest to feel as comfortable as possible, the recommended number of passengers is 20 people.
However, the maximum of passengers that the catamaran can accommodate is 30 people. In this case, you will have to pay an additional charge of €35 (not incl. VAT) for each guest starting from the 21st passenger.
Catamaran Rental Duration and Times
On board the catamaran Wild Cat 65, we can enjoy five hour cruises or 10 hour all day cruises:
- morning cruises last from 11:00 to 16:00
- evening cruises last from 17:00 to 22:00
- all day cruises last from 11:00 to 21:00
It is also possible to book full day cruises or trips lasting several days, as well as shorter cruises subject to individual agreement.

Cruise Departure Point
We will start the catamaran cruise in Central Riga at Kipsala. It will take us an hour to reach the coast. For an additional charge, we can arrange for guests to be picked up any jetty in Jurmala or Riga that is suitable for the catamaran.
